Emily owns and runs Paws and Whiskers. She lives in Cheltenham, with her 2 British shorthair cats, German Shepherd and a GSD x Collie. She has had owned and cared for a variety of animals over the years, and is devoted to them. Emily has experience in owning, and caring for cats, dogs, horses, rabbits and a variety of other small animals.

Emily has experiencing owning and breeding cats and is confident in basic cat care such as clipping nails, worming and administering medication.

Emily also has lots of experience of dogs, and currently has a 3 year old German Shepherd called Beau and a 1 year old Collie x German Shepherd called Izzy. Both are rescue dogs who didn't have the best start in life, but who are now very much loved and pampered! They have lovely natures and are sociable with other dogs, so join in the daily group walks and actvities. Emily also grew up with Irish Setters and has had plenty of experience with a variety of breeds of dogs. She has taken over where her grandfather left off, as he always walked and boarded dogs. Emily is committed to providing the best care for the dogs she cares for, and always devises individual programmes to suit their needs. She is currently completing a course in dog-training with the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB).

Emily has always loved horses and started riding at the age of four. She has owned ponies and later horses, including a New Forest pony Bramble and two ex-racehorses called Sugar and Charlie who she spent a lot of time rehabilitating and reschooling. More recently Emily has enjoyed taking part in cross-country events with an Irish coloured mare called Flicker, who has now gone to a lovely new home near Birmingham
