Paws and Whiskers are registered with The National Association of Registered Petsitters (NARP).

NARP are the largest Pet Care organisation in the UK and set the standards for the Pet and House sitting industries. They also represent  members at local and national government level, with particular interest in all legislation which affects the Petcare Industry and Animal Welfare in general. As the Trade Association for the Industry they are involved primarily with the proper care of pets and property and  aim to set and maintain standards accordingly.

There are many people across the country who offer pet sitting services, only some of these are registered. By registering with NARP we have agreed to abide by their Code of Practice and Terms and Conditions. As a NARP member we have had to provide at least two references on application from people who have known us for a minimum of two years, are not related and can vouch for our trustworthiness, reliability and ability to care for pets. We have also had to provide proof of our experience of pet care with details of all the pets that we have owned or cared for over the years. NARP compelete visits / checks for each pet sitter registered with them.
